I’m all about building sustainable practices and habits to set you up for life; while still enjoying your favorite foods. ‘Cause, food is life!

without giving up any delicious foods or going through extremes and sacrifices. Through my approach I help women achieve a body & mind they love to live in while building a lifestyle that sustains long-term.

 

My personal health journey may surprise you…

I actually grew up in a pretty health-focused home. When I was 8, my Dad was diagnosed with a serious health condition. He was told that he had to drastically change his lifestyle, or else.

And, he did! Watching him completely transform his diet and approach to exercise was an inspiration I wish upon every lil 8 year old. 

Growing up in this environment meant that I naturally grew up with healthy habits and an understanding of the importance of health.

However, it wasn’t until I moved out of home and realized that I wasn’t quite prepared for what came next...

Since I was 8, I grew up watching my father correct his health through sheer willpower and dedication as he refused to take medication. As I watched him self-teach himself healthy habits through exercise and nutrition, I too learned about what it means to have a healthy lifestyle.

 

However, as I got older and moved out, I started experiencing my own struggle with weight gain. I rarely bought new clothes, promising myself I would drop the weight and fit back into my old ones.

Suddenly I was this young thang released into the world!

I started partying more, neglected nourishing my body, was practically living off takeout. And so, my body changed.

I would spend hours in my closet, trying to prepare for a night out with friends, but everything I tried on either didn’t fit, showed too much of this, too little of that. I just felt- gross. Inevitably, I would have a full-blown meltdown on the floor of my closet.

I looked at my friends with envy. How did they look so effortlessly stunning and confident!? (little did I know, many of them were experiencing similar moments in their own closets).

I desperately wanted to be the girl who could throw on an outfit after 1 or 2 tries and FEEL confident. 

I wanted to be able to strut out the door, smile when I glimpsed my reflection, order what I craved without guilt and just, be happy.

I finally got frustrated enough with myself to take massive action!

I was sick of killing myself for marginal, temporary results. So, I finally hired my first nutrition coach; little did I know I was about to be sent on the journey of a lifetime…

I was blown away by what I learned about portion sizes, nutritional values, and how our bodies respond to them. Being able to look at a plate of food and know exactly what I was about to put in my body was such an empowering feeling!

Eventually, it all became second nature to me, but then I had this moment of, “Um, why doesn’t everyone have this knowledge?” It had allowed me to change my life, and I wanted other women to be fuelled by the same newfound confidence I had instilled within myself.

That’s when I decided to become a coach and teach other women to do exactly that; to eat the foods they want with knowledge and confidence, get moving in a way that lights them up, and be proud of who they are.

I empower my clients to release the pressures of yo-yo dieting and create sustainable habits to last them a lifetime.

I finally I got fed up with myself.

 

What I was doing on my own wasn’t enough, so I hired my first nutrition coach. After a few weeks, I was blown away at the knowledge I gained in nutrition, and how I could understand portion sizes and their nutritional value, just by looking at the plate of food in front of me.

 

I became a coach myself to educate and empower other women to do the same. By teaching women that they can gain the same knowledge and stop yo-yo dieting with all the trendy fad diets that ultimately are not sustainable.

 

I teach you how to find the habits that weren't helping you, and trade them for habits that help you feel and look your BEST.

Reaching your goals shouldn't be miserable or restricting

 

You can eat the food you love and still be healthy and fit. I'm proof of this! I didn't restrict a single food from my diet.

 

This is why I am so passionate about helping you live an enjoyable and balanced lifestyle. I believe every woman should feel confident that they're making the right decisions for her body. My mission is to educate you through the process to help you create sustainable habits that you love, so that you can maintain the results you achieve, while feeling and looking your best!
